maura chen is an architectural designer, artist, and educator whose current research centers on physical spaces of mutual aid and cooperative ownership. infrastructural spatial types, the occupation of interstitial urban space, and intersection of race, gender, class, and informal economies figure prominently in the work. chen holds a ba in architecture from the university of california berkeley and a masters from the princeton university school of architecture, and is currently based in los angeles.
